Needham Market Women began 2025 with a home defeat to Haringey Borough.
The away side broke the deadlock early as Harvey scored in the fourth minute.
Annie Posnett however saw a ferocious shot from distance blocked nine minutes later, as Needham enjoyed a lot of the possession.
Brilliant keeping from Danni Clarke, narrowing down the angle, blocked Humes' 17th minute shot away, before Ciera Flatt couldn't quite get on the end of Millie Baggott's brilliant cutback after a surging run from Posnett's clever through-ball on 22 minutes.
Sheryce Slater was then well placed to brilliantly block a close range shot two minutes later, while the rebound shot went over.
Needham though had the ball in the net on 25 minutes, but Becca Stephenson was adjudged to have been offside as she latched onto Mille Baggott's clever through-ball before finding the net.
Needham continued to enjoy a lot of possession, alrhough Haringey doubled their advantage on 36 minutes.
Danni Clarke meanwhile thwarted Humes after again smartly narrowing down the angle a minute later, although Harvey added a third five minutes before the break.
The away side made it 4-0 two minutes after the restart, while Roberts held onto Becca Stephenson's powerful shot from distance after 51 minutes.
Humes then curled home a fifth goal on 63 minutes, before adding the sixth two minutes later.
Bamber netted a seventh on 68 minutes, followed by Harvey netting another a minute later.
Danni Clarke again thwarted the visitors, sliding off her line brilliantly to claim possession, denying a shot at goal on 72 minutes, while Roberts held onto a close range header from a dangerous corner six minutes later.
Haringey added a ninth on 85 minutes, though Clarke narrowed down the angle superbly once more after 94 minutes to block Bamber's shot behind for a corner.
Needham host Royston Town next Sunday (2:30pm).
