Needham Market narrowly lost at home to Wroxham 3-2 on a difficult day at Bloomfields that increases the gap to safety to five points.
It was all square at the break thanks too two goals in a minute as Wroxham took a 13th minute lead from Lily Alexander, but it was immediately equalised by Rebecca Stephenson straight from a corner.
In the second half Wroxham retook the lead through Hannah Fuller but Stephenson levelled again but it the away side whowon it with a close range finish from Tigi Robson.
Needham started the better but with the wind playing a strong part in the game it was causing both sides issues in the early moments.
And it played a part in the visitors taking the lead as a long ball held up in the wind and allowed Alexander to get in behind and chip over Danni Clarke before passing into the empty net.
But Needham equalised immediately as a corner from Stephenson looked to go straight in as the wind viciously curled the ball in towards the net and beating the keeper.
Corners where a handful as both teams could have added a second and Stephenson missed a golden chance to put them ahead.
The second half started the same as the first with Wroxham getting ahead again as Fuller got the final contact to divert the ball into the bottom corner.
But like the first half Needham were level straight away again as Stephenson scored straight from a free kick as the wind again helped to deceive the keeper.
Both teams had chances, but nobody could take advantage until the last 10 with Robson bundled over from close range as Needham struggled to clear a corner.
Cate Jackson was unlucky to see here long range effort smack the bar to get a late equaliser but it wasn’t to be as the gap at the bottom gets slightly bigger.
