A hat trick from Molly Hall helped secure Needham Market secure back-to-back wins to start their league campaign after a comprehensive 7-1 win up in Norfolk against Kings Lynn.
It was a dominant first half by the away side, and they led at the break thanks to a brace from Hall and one for Lina Nagib to go with her two assists for Hall’s goals.
They added another four in the second half with goals from Nagib, Ellie Rossiter, Paige Wakefield and Hall completing her hat trick in stoppage time with the home team grabbing a consolation from Jodie Hopkins-Duckhouse.
Needham dominated throughout and led after 11 minutes from Hall as she nodded in a back post header from a delightful Nagib corner.
It took a while to score another - although chances were coming thick and fast - it was the same combination at it again as Nagib cut a ball inside from the left for Hall to run on and tap under the keeper.
Only minutes later it was three with debutant Hayley Kindred playing a delicious ball in behind for Hall again and after rounding the keeper, her finish was poked over the line by Nagib to grab her first.
It could have been more before the break, but some good goalkeeping kept the score down as Needham really started to create at will.
Nagib added her second straight after the break as she wasplayed through by Paige Wakefield’s beautiful deep defence splitting pass to calmly tuck into the bottom corner.
Wakefield was then on target herself as she converted a free kick right outside the dee after Hall had been brought down.
Then it was two goals in as many minutes as first Kings Lynn scored from nothing with a great strike from Hopkins-Duckhouse before Needham went up the other end and added a sixth from substitute Rossiter.
Needham stepped off it for the final 20 minutes and although they could and should have had more, Hall rounded off her hat trick in stoppage time to add some gloss to a brilliant individual and team display.
