CROSS JOINS ON-LOAN

Needham Market FC is delighted to announce the loan signing of Brackley Town midfielder Liam Cross.

The 21-year old started his career at Northampton Town, making 9 senior appearances for the club among loans to St Ives Town, Tamworth and Leamington, before joining The Saints upon departing the Cobblers in June 2023.

Liam, who can play either centre-midfield or as a winger, spent last season on-loan to Gloucester City.

The club would like to welcome Liam to Needham, and also would like to place on record it's thanks to Brackley manager Gavin Cowan for his assistance.

Assistant Manager Tom Rothery said, "really pleased to get Liam in, he’s played against us several times and always impressed me with his directness and ability to trouble defences. It’s no secret we’ve not scored enough so far this season and we really believe Liam can come in and add something to us going forward. I spoke to Gavin about him and thankfully after speaking with him and Liam we’ve been able to agree this so really looking forward to working with Liam. Thanks to Gavin and Brackley for getting this done."
